making whip cream

Yesterday evening I made an ice cream cake for my Familia Tica...it was hit!! They had never had anything like it. My Mama Tica and I are saving the best for last: oatmeal brownies. On top of the ice cream cake I wanted to put a little Cool Whip...and was dismayed to not find it in the Mega Super. Instead I bought a box and made it myself! It required a half cup of milk and a little whipping action...about 7 minutes-worth. It was interesting to watch the mix go from liquid to whip, and it tasted pretty good, but the texture was a little different. It was like making pudding! My first time making whipped cream...my first time making an ice cream cake too.
 Not bad.
